Our next Friday Film Nights at the Fun Home screening is the fantasy drama classic, Bridge to Terabithia (2007), based on the 1977 novel by Katherine Paterson.
Bridge to Terabithia follows two adolescent children, Jesse and Lesley, as they build a friendship while navigating bullying and complex family relationships. They create a fantasy world, ‘Terabithia’, that they escape to through play, to help them deal with their difficult reality.
At our film nights the prerequisite for a chosen film is that it contains grief as a theme. We will have tissues handy!
Tea and snacks provided. Entry is by donation to help us cover the costs of putting on this event.
