Queer Death Care offers all community members and allies an opportunity to get up close and personal with the workings of Sydney's only Queer owned and run funeral home. This is a safe and accessible event.
Life Rites team members will respond to all your questions (and those you've not thought of yet) about Mortality - your rights and choices. In queer communities, our families are often of our own choosing and broader than our biological families of origin. So making sure you know what you need to have in your kit bag to get your funeral rites right is of prime importance.
Solicitor Mary Cunningham will be with us to address some important legal aspects that we all need to have in place.
This event will introduce you to queer focused doula-led end of life, funeral and bereavement care and drop you gently into the heart of life.
A fabulous way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing afternoon tea.
