Nina (Juliet Stevenson), is overwhelmed with grief following the death of her partner Jamie (Alan Rickman). As she verges on despair, Jamie reappears as a ghost, and the couple are reunited. Nina is ecstatic to have her Jamie back, but as time goes on, she realises there are bigger choices for her to make. Does she stay in the past, with a ghost, or does she keep moving forward, with the living?
A beautiful film exploring the depths of grief, how it changes us, how we live with our dead and how we figure out how to keep living without them. With some additional romantic comedy weaving it’s way through the story line, it’s a great film to watch at a funeral home on a Friday night!
