Site Specific Funerals

People often choose to hold the funeral or memorial ceremony in a community location or designated venue that may hold personal or sacred value to the person who has died and their community. Or it may simply be the best place to accommodate large crowds. We work with you on practical, emotional and/ or spiritual requirements to ensure that the ceremony and event is just as it needs to be. With extensive creative experience, the Life Rites team would love to help you find the perfect space and work with you to craft a bespoke event.

Life Rites’ Victoria Spence is celebrant in a funky warehouse space, smiling at the crowd which is lit by pink stage lighting, looking like an art or live music event, but is actually a Memorial.

Site-Specific considerations can include:

  • Finding a unique space that speaks of your person

  • Planning all aspects of the event, tailored to the space

  • Recommending AV, catering suppliers and event theming aspects
